SecureTeen allows you to block any application on your child's device. The application can be a game, a browser, or even Google Play store (Android Market). If you block Play store, your child will not able to install any applications through it. SecureTeen uploads a list of all applications installed on the device with their icons which will help you decide which application should be allowed/blocked.
Please see instructions below on how to block an application.
Log in to your dashboard and identify the device (XT1609 in this case) for which you want to customize the settings. Click ‘Rules’ link for that device.
By default, a rule named ‘Permanent’ will be available with no apps blocked.
You can create as many rules as you want to, with different filtering settings against specified time intervals. You can edit ‘Permanent Rule’ as well to allow and block certain apps.
Click the ‘Edit’ icon and you will be shown a window with options to ‘Block Categories and Sites’. Click ‘Next’.
Scroll down the list or use the search app text field to find and allow/block the application(s) as per your requirement. For instance, to block ‘Play Store’ app, click the lock icon against it and press ‘Next’.
Rule Details will now show the updated settings.
